I finished the weekly update on my writing prompts lens. Can anyone else believe that it’s almost August? Only five more months until Christmas. Sheesh. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I’ve been slowly increasing my computer time but have spend most of my lens time updating my TLC experience with info about my surgery, recovery, photos etc. That’s about all I can handle at the moment.

The Write Prompts lens was updated Sunday and today I quickly updated my Eco-Bags lens with a new bag of the week. I saw a Matt and Nat bag at Winners on the weekend and almost cave but I’m holding off… it wasn’t love.

I would have liked to have done more tonight but my eyes are dry and stinging so I’m heading to bed after some luscious and lubricating eye drops.

Well, I finally made it through a week’s worth of email and I have to say the best one was from Bonnie (BDKZ), Patti (GypsyPirate) and Robin (RMS) announcing my new Giant Squid status. It’s so hard to believe really. I’m excited yet stunned with the last six months. You don’t think you’ll make it there and then suddenly you’re there.

I’d like to thank everyone who helped make it possible. Namely, my fellow lensmasters who constantly inspire me with their creativity and with their good nature.

It’s so good to be back and waste time sorting through this. Hopefully it’s the only one.

I’m back from my eye surgery and am weeding through a week’s worth of email etc. Thank you to everyone who posted on my lenses this past week. I plan on reciprocating over the next few weeks. My computer time is still limited as I recover (it’s hard to keep blinking and looking at the monitor!).
